Fairhills is proud to be a small part of delivering this staggering new Google HQ at London King’s Cross.

The 11-storey building comprises more than 1 million square feet of space. Inside, it will accommodate 4,500 employees, a gym and pool, a multi-use games area, an Events Centre and staff training facilities.

At roof level, landscaped terraces and a walking ‘Trim Track’ will provide outdoor amenities and recreation space for office workers and their visitors.

Fairhills is assisting a long-standing client and the landscape contractor to coordinate and deliver the roof, which in itself is a vast project.

The high-end architectural lighting will illuminate various sections of the ‘park’, each of which lends itself to the well-being and development of its inhabitants – Googlers.

Small power, containment routes and draw pits will be installed within the landscaping for Google’s in-house fit-out team (GEN) and the other incumbent sub-contractors.

Construction commenced in 2018. Fairhills started reviewing designs with the electrical contractor in 2022. Completion of the overall project is set to be 2024.
